Paintallica

A crazy night of art-making...the Paintallica group came to Luther College and worked with the art students to create this. The madness lasted from about 8 pm until 4 in the morning (minus a few hours to take a break and go to the bar, of course...it was the weekend). At first, I didn't think that this was art...I thought it was hideous. But after a lot of thinking, I think it is art. It has a lot of psychological meaning, especially to the artists involved. It was also very cool to see how each artist contributed their own thoughts to the project...mixing them in with and on top of other artists' ideas. And it was a lot of fun too!
